Samsung has started rolling out Android 2.3.5 update for its Galaxy S2 in some regions. The upgrade will probably hide some elements in the touchwiz UI to avoid patent issues with Apple Inc. We do not expect see major changes in the touchwiz UI which some people say that is a copy of ios! surely it looks similar but apple has felt the heat while tackling the android army!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus announced! possibly to be around 25,000 Rs.!

Samsung has announced the  Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, it will be available starting in Indonesia and Austria from end-October and gradually will be available to global markets  including Southeast and Southwest Asia, US, Europe, CIS, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Japan and China. No pricing is known yet, mobileradar.in expects it to be maximum of 25,000 Rs.

HTC announces budget Android phone ‘Explorer’!

HTC today announced the HTC 'Explorer' a 'budget' android phone running on android 2.3.5. The price of this phone is possibly INR 12,650. WHAT!? a phone with a price tag of 12,650 Rs. should not be called a budget phone at least here in India. It is very likely for the price to go down in some months maybe around the festive season!

Samsung anounces Omnia W !

Samsung has announced the Omnia W , featuring the Windows phone 7.5 on a Samsung device for the first time.It  comes with pre-installed Samsung’s apps like Now, RSS Times, Video Call(3G), Photo Studio, Mini Diary, All Share(DNLA), Fun Shot, Wireless Manager and some of the downloadable apps like Dictionary, Photogram and Rubik’s Cube.


It will be available in India only after October or November, it will be first launched in Italy. No pricing information was released.

Huawei anounces the 'honor', 1.4 Ghz single core phone!

Huawei has launched the 'honor' which runs on the android 2.3.5 gingerbread and is powered with a 1.4 Ghz single core processor coupled with 512 mb of RAM. It is expected to be released around Q4 in the middle east , China and Russia. There was no pricing information given in the Press Release (PR)
