HTC flyer gets OTA honeycomb update

The htc flyer has got its long due android honeycomb update. Earlier it came with a skinned android 2.3 UI which made gingerbread quiet usable on a tablet. But, now htc has updated the flyer with android honeycomb (tablet friendly). The update is only confirmed for the 3G+32GB version only but it is confirmed that the wifi versions of the tablet will also get the update soon,but now now. The exact version number of the android honeycomb on the tablet is 3.55.405.1

htc has launched a new smartphone, the sensation XL. It is prices at about 39,990 Rs. with a best buy price of 38,799 Rs. The phone comes with a single core 1.5 Ghz processor coupled with 768 mb of RAM. Pre-loaded with android 2.3 it comes with a 4.7 inch SLCD display. This phone comes with the adreno 205 GPU. This phone is also equipped with beats audio system.

HTC G1 aka dream gets ICS working on it!

jcarrz1 member at xda-developers somehow managed to run ice cream sandwich (android 4.0.1) on a HTC G1 or the HTC dream. Touch screen and Apps are working on this rom but features such as bluetooth, wifi and auto rotation are still a long way to go. But even getting ICS running on this device is a huge feat which supported android versions officially till 1.6 only.

HTC flyer gets a much needed price reduction

the price flew down!

The sales weren't good so the prices dropped. That's what has happened with the htc Flyer, earlier retailing at about 36,000 Rs. now the price for this this device has come all the way down to just 23,900 Rs. Though is is running on the mobile friendly android 2.3 but is highly optimized for tablet use, thanks to htc sense 3.0. it is available at flipkart.

The price has been reduced by a massive 12,000 Rs. probably due to poor sales because of much cheaper and better competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 750/730 and of course the ipad 2.

HTC Zeta leaked!

The next super smartphone of HTC may be leaked. The HTC Zeta may have its specs and features rolling out in the techno world before it actually enters it. It is rumored that the HTC zeta will look like as above.
The rumored specifications are a 2.4GHz processor, APQ8064 CPU and 1 GB of RAM.

htc has today announced its plans for the ice cream sandwich updates for its smart-phones. Phones like the sensation and the sensation XL are their but phones such as the incredible s don't feature in the list but don't lose hope htc says that it is continuing to assess their portfolio. Well fingers crossed, a similar phone , galaxy s may also have the same fate as of the incredible s.

The htc Sensation XE is now available in India at a starting price of 32,400 Rs. It was shown as a "coming soon" device since 17th October on flipkart.com. The price point is is a little higher that what it should have been.A price point of 30,000 Rs. would have been good for a 1.5Ghz dual core device which comes with top notch audio capability. The htc Rhyme has been listed on flipkart.com at a price point of 24,800. It was announced in September 2011 in the US. The htc rhyme comes with a 1 Ghz processor and is powered with a adreno 205 GPU. Surprisingly it has been listed "out of stock" instead of "coming soon". 

HTC's profit up by 68%, release Q3 reports!

htc's groth continues! Today the Taiwanese company released their Q3 earning report. The net income has risen to a whopping NT$18.68 billion, this is about 840 billion rupees! The 68% increase is compared to from their Q3 2010 earnings. Their shipment also increased by a gigantic 93%.

Ice Cream Sandwich gets ported to the Nexus one

A youtube user named "dr1337md" has managed to port android 4.0 or the Ice cream sandwhich on his nexus one. There are still many bugs though. He has also given out his source link ( goo.gl / ETPsm) but unfortunately that doesn't seem to work

htc Sensation XE coming soon to India!
