Our friends over a igyaan.in are reporting that the Micromax superfone A85 will soon get a major price reduction. From a price of  18,990 Rs. it will be slashed to 15,290 Rs. A slash of about 4,000 Rs. Seems like the sales weren't good? What are your thoughts?

Samsung Galaxy R now for just INR 21K

Samsung had released the Galaxy R in the Indian markets a while back, but at a very disappointing price. In response to that Samsung slashed the price to INR 25K from 27K but now it seems like due to poor sales the price has been further cut down to just 20,999 Rs. Now this phone becomes an obvious choice over other smartphones, as it features a 4.2 inch display coupled with a 1Ghz Dual core processor. If you are looking for an alternative then you can also go for the LG Optimus 2X which is priced at 20K , thousand rupees cheaper than Galaxy R.

HTC flyer gets a much needed price reduction

The sales weren't good so the prices dropped. That's what has happened with the htc Flyer, earlier retailing at about 36,000 Rs. now the price for this this device has come all the way down to just 23,900 Rs. Though is is running on the mobile friendly android 2.3 but is highly optimized for tablet use, thanks to htc sense 3.0. it is available at flipkart.

The price has been reduced by a massive 12,000 Rs. probably due to poor sales because of much cheaper and better competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 750/730 and of course the ipad 2.

The Dell Venue pro is now on sale for about 20,500 Rs. It is available at 24,000 Rs. but flipkart.com is offering an instant cash-back of 3,500 Rs. The Dell venue pro was  available at a price point of 35,000 Rs. when it was initially launched. The phone will also now come updated with the latest windows phone OS aka windows phone 7.5 which features many new features. Now, with the availability of windows market place in India buying and downloading apps would be much easier.
