Aircel India recently announced that they will be going to release the iphone 4S pretty soon in India. Now aircel has confirmed that the pre-booking of the iphone 4S will being from the 18th on November Midnight onwards. There is no information about tarrif plans for the 4S yet.
Their have been rumors that the iphone 4S will be available in India from Nov. 25 onwards but we haven't heard anything from airtel yet! It has also been rumored that the starting model (16GB) will be available at a price point of 35,000 Rs. The same model is available in USA for a price point of 29,000 Rs. (factory unlocked). This phone will face serious competition from phones such as the Galaxy S II.
