Amazon is all set to launch its next tablet with a larger display. The news is set the the new tablet will have a display of 8.9 inch. The company had planned to prepare a 10.1 inch display before but it seems to have dropped the plan.
The buzz is that Amazon's current panel suppliers Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) and LG Display (LGD) have been recently ordered panels of 8.9 inch. The news seems to have rolled out from this only. The new screen may set up higher resolution. Lets see what Amazon gets on the front.
By increasing the screen size sure does the pricing also goes up, is Amazon trying to be even more closer to the ipad. Several analysts touted the Kindle Fire as the ipad killer but in reviews it is said that it is laggy and choppy at times but keep in mind the price of this device is just 199$ which is less than half the ipads cost (499$ entry model)
