During the google Music launch event, Google has stated that over 200 million android devices have been activated till date.In just 6 months they have doubled the the number, from 100 million in May they are now at 200 million in November (today).Google has also stated that on an average 5,50,000 android devices get activated daily.
Device activations monthly:
- November 16 – 200 million devices
- October 14 – 190 million devices
- July 15 – 135 million devices
- May 11 – 100 million devices
