Samsung has just confirmed its plans to upgrade its smartphone/tablet lineup to the latest iteration of android, ice cream sandwich 4.0. Surprisingly Sammy has left out the budget devices and only given preference to devices which are costly. Though it is to be noted that Samsung is still "evaluating" devices which could also be upgraded.
Budget phones such as the Samsung galaxy ace, Y , fit , pop etc. have been left out possibly because of lack of hardware power, lets wait and watch the fates of these phones.
Samsung devices confirmed for ICS upgrade:
- Galaxy SII
- Galaxy Note
- Galaxy Tab 10.1
- Galaxy Tab 8.9
- Galaxy Tab 7.7
- Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Unfortunately the Samsung Galaxy S has been left out, there is no confirmed news for the samsung galaxy s plus.
