| 4.8 inch screen: rather large? |
Acer India today added one more phone to its smartphone offerings today by launching the iconia smart in the Indian market. It is has a rather large 4.8 inch display coupled with custom acer UI (Acer breeze) over the Android Gingerbread. Sadly there is no dual core magic!, it is powered by a 1Ghz processor.
The Screen size is just 0.2 inches smaller than the dell streak which was marketed as a tablet! Lets see what happens,anyways there is a trend of android phones coming out with bigger and bigger screen sizes such as the newly launches Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which sports a 4.65 inch touch screen!
The acer iconia smart is priced at about 28,990 Rs. and will be soon available in stores near you!
